Not worth it

Expensive, lots of walking for few animals. Things I hoped were included were and additional cost. To get near many animals was as much as $300ish extra for a drive closer.

NO SAFARI EXPERIENCE - Website is false advertising
Ashley_W
, apr. 2021
This was my first experience at the Safari park. Looking at the website watching the video and reading the description got me and my kids very excited about a safari experience that isn’t even offered at the park unless you want to pay 600.00 per person to ride in the back of a truck through the animals in the open areas. I was disgusted speaking with a manager who informed me they no longer included a safari experience with the tickets because of “COVID.” He was not able to offer me anything not even at the astronomical rates they are requesting. What a complete disappointment all around. This place is nothing more than a glorified zoo aimed at tourists. I’m a San Diego resident and will never return.

Not worth the money, and we aren't picky.

Elephants and a couple baby gorillas were great. Not even alerting us to no trams is notright. When we signed up there was no notification. That is not right. We never would have came. We unfortunately saw many more animals at our small town zoo in Minnesota. Here was saw 1 tiger, a few smaller elephants which was cool, 1 gorilla, 2 female lions from a distance, and lots of birds.

I got the wrong information so I was upset I couldn't enjoy both parks like how she told me I could. Ended up paying for the entrance again when we got to safari park
