I joined a group of people for a tour to Etna.
Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgable and a safe driver.
Seeing Etna and the craters and cave was interesting.
At one point on top of the Craters Silvestri the winds were so strong that it felt a bit unsafe.
The tasting of local food at the end of the tour is more like sending you through a crowded shop to buy things.

The info tha Giovanni gave us made the difference. He is kind, enjoyable and passionate about his work. He was on time at the meeting point in the morningand on the way to the cable car we made several stops and he explained to us the history, the formation and the evolution of Etna.
We stoped to try local honey, wine and olive oil at a local producer.
I definetely recommend the tour! Thank you, Giovanni!

A wonderful Journey up Mt Etna

We woke up early to meet our guide Francesco by the port. Jumped into the jeep and made our way up the mountain. The journey is about an hour but Francesco kept us entertained with what we would see and what we would be doing. As we got closer the views became breath taken. Then stopping off to view an old lava flow and being able to purchase a souvenir from a local who lived there for many years. We then winded our way to the sight of the cable car and walked around for forty minuets exploring and taken photos of the summit. Just to clarify we didn't go to the top but from what i understand its not worth paying the cable car fee to view the summit. Then we worked our way down whilst stopping to visit an old lava tunnel and old lava flow.
Finishing off the tour with food and wine tasting. A perfect way to finish off a fantastic tour. Many thanks to Francesco.

We clearly stated in our booking details that we needed to be picked up at our hotel. We waited for the driver the morning of the tour and he never showed. It took us several calls to get somebody from the company to answer and when we reach them they told us that they expected us to go to a different location to meet the tour and it was too late. In fact, at one point they refused to answer our calls so we had to have the hotel make the call with a local number to get a response. We had to find a private driver because that was the only day we were going to be in that area to see Mount Etna. Almost ruined our one and only opportunity to see Mount Etna. Requested a refund Through their website and still haven’t even gotten an answer back.

Hello, we have already answered you via the TripAdvisor platform and I'm sorry that you still insist on saying that the pick-up place has begun. We from the tour description we have the meeting point but if you send us within 24 hours before the excursion the place of the pick up, we confirm the time and we come to pick you up like we do with all our customers. We have not had any communication from you or even via TripAdvisor. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

First I highly recommend a trip to Etna, it was great! This tour, however, was just okay at best.. For the price you basically get a ride to the 2000 meter base. They pile 6 people in a Nissan (some people have to squeeze into a folding bench in the way back, They drive you to the 2000 meter chairlift. From there, you can tour a small inactive crater or you have to pay 65 euro more to ride to the top (3100 meters)(definitely pay the money and go to the top, its amazing) The driver takes you to a tiny cave for about 10 minutes and then to a tasting for 15 minutes. The english speaking guide spoke very little english. In sum, go to Etna, find a different tour.

Faire de la voiture sans climatisation assis à l’arrière sur un strapontin et pour voir des trous et de la végétation ! Cela Ne correspond pas à l’attente et la description que j’avais ! La description est mensongère ! On ne va pas au volcan qui était à proximité . Je suis revenue avec un mal de dos et une grande déception ! Je ne conseille pas cette escortions ! Le guide très compétent j’ai eu une bonne description du site de la végétation il était passionné et attentionné envers nous . J’airai envie Je demander le remboursement pour une prestation nulle !

Je viens de parler au guide, partons du fait que vous avez fait une erreur dans la réservation en demandant la langue espagnole, à la place vous aviez besoin de la langue française. Giovanni, notre guide espagnol, a essayé d'utiliser un traducteur. Tu as parlé à Giovanni de ton problème de dos et il t'a fait changer de place. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi dire des choses qui ne sont pas vraies. Vous avez eu tort de réserver une visite en espagnol au lieu du français. Je suis désolé mais nous n'avons aucune raison de remettre à neuf votre circuit. Nous n'acceptons donc aucun remboursement

Horacio nous a emmené sur les pentes de l'Etna avec beaucoup d'humour et de connaissances sur ce qu'il nous faisait visiter.
Ce genre d'excursions en Jeep est beaucoup plus agréable que les excursions en troupeau dans un bus climatisé, où il n'y a ni le fun, ni le plaisir d'être proches dans un petit groupe. Merci à Horation et à une prochaine fois !

Le guide nous a récupéré à l'endroit convenu en dehors de Catane pour nous éviter de devoir nous rendre en ville.
Découverte de l'ETNA avec des explications en français parfaitent et arrêts dans des endroits que seuls les locaux connaissent.
Parfait pour une découverte du parc de l'ETNA.
