Best day tour ever!

Teresa was our guide and she was excellent. The tour actually says the driver is not a guide, just someone to provide transportation. But she far exceeded our expectations. For a young person, she was extremely knowledgeable and provided lots of folklore stories and explanations of what we were seeing. It was our last day of vacation and she (and the tour) made it perfect!

My husband and I took this tour last week with just one other guest, so it was a very small group. We went by minibus to Savoca and loved the little village with its renowned Vitelli Bar where our guide Francesco ordered us granite - so refreshing on a hot day! Francesco was a great guide, with lots of local knowledge and a friendly, informal manner. He drove us on to see the spectacular towns of Castelmola and Taormina, where we had time to wander round at our leisure. We were also treated to a delicious street food lunch during the day, which we all very much enjoyed. I would thoroughly recommend this day out to anyone staying in Catania.

Iorge was our guide. There were 5 people. Iorga was an excellentguide. He was passionate about showing us all the important sites. He also gave us lunch! We really enjoyed Savoca, the most,and Castgelmola, as well. Taormina was very touristy, with shops, mostly, and everything there was very pricey. We just walked through the town and met our guide to leave.

Was interesting seeing three small cities but a lot of time is wasted on the “godfather locale “Taormina is not worth a Saturday visit .. so crowded you can’t move . The lunch was a cute idea with the variations in panini but there should be an actual lunch option. Sitting on the steps of a church isn’t comfortable for most people . What do you do if it rains?We had the fun of watching a wedding in Savoca . Jorge was a very attentive guide and tried to involve everyone which isn’t always easy with a varied group of ages and interests.

We are really happy you enjoyed the 3 cities and Jorge's explanations and entertainment.
Of course, Taormina is one of the most famous cities in Sicily, so during high season, every day of the week, it is normal to find large crowds and a lot of people! If you’d like to enjoy Taormina we suggest you to come back in April or October, when shops are still open and the high season for the tourism is still not started/finished.
Moreover, in order to attempt your criticism, We want to clarify some points:
The tour runs every day of the week, so it is not our fault that if you decided to join in it on Saturday.
As you can see in all our programs, we offer a FREE SNACK in a pic-nic way (not properly a lunch), and anyway you would have you have the opportunity to decide between our snack or one hour of free time to have lunch wherever you want (for example in a restaurant).
By the way, thank you again: we will use your feedback in order to improve our job and to do our best for the future customers.
