A super day out in beautiful surrounds

We loved the walk round the tops of the trees. We loved the Japanese garden. We were fortunate to have a lovely lady called B who showed us round and told us lots of information about the gardens.

The whole process was very straight forward and the staff at Kew Gardens were extremely helpful. A few more shelters around the garden would come in useful

Our visit to Kew

The whole experience, liked the water lilies particularly and and rock garden and waterfall. It was a hot day but there was plenty of shade. We told the train ride which filled in the gaps we hadn’t managed to get to on foot, it highlighted what we missed and enabled us to head towards the other areas we wanted to explore.

A day to meet up with siblings

The welcome from the staff at the gate and the friendly advise given by the attendant outside the gate was welcome. The gardens were super but a few more chairs would have made the experience so much better.

Beautiful botanical gardens. Orangery expensive and unclear about what a available. The last time I isited was 45 years ago in 1976. Has kept all the traditional glass house spectacles and added some modern twists like the sculptures.

The garden was very interesting. Especially the greenhouse- it gave a real feeling of the rainforest. The flowers were so vibrant and eye catching. The lake had an amazing aroma with the tulips lighting the pool of nature.
