Select a morning or evening tour when you book. Then, depart central London by comfortable, air-conditioned coach and begin your tour to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stonehenge.

Visitors who arrive at the site during main daylight hours are only allowed to stroll the perimeter pathway around the monument, a route roped off from the stone circle. However, this ‘private viewing’ tour lets your group enter the roped-off circle of stones to see the monolithic blocks at truly close quarters.

Hear the fascinating facts and mysteries that surround the monument from your expert guide, and by enjoying the rarified atmosphere of the inner circle, experience the site at its magical best! With luck, and depending on the season, you may even visit during a sunrise or sunset, making the occasion extra special. See below for the morning or evening itinerary. Both tours conclude with a drop-off in central London.

Morning Tour: After seeing Stonehenge, continue to nearby Lacock: a quaint village dating to the 13th century. Stretch your legs on a guided walk around the pretty lanes, and see some of the locations used in the movie 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,' and a TV adaptation of 18th-century writer Jane Austen’s 'Pride and Prejudice.' Afterward, savor a hearty breakfast (own expense) at The George Inn, Lacock’s 14th-century pub, before venturing to the beautiful, UNESCO-listed city of Bath, famous for its Roman spa and Georgian architecture. Tour the well-preserved Roman Baths, built over natural hot springs; see Bath Abbey, and learn about Jane Austen’s connections to the city. If you wish, follow your guide to see where 19th-century author, Charles Dickens, once lived, and call at a dairy to taste some local cheese. Alternatively, use some free time to perhaps shop for gifts or view Bath’s highlights on your own.

Evening Tour: Leave London for Bath and visit the stunning Roman Baths and Bath Abbey, as set out in the morning itinerary. Then, drive on to postcard-worthy Lacock to amble around its historical streets. Later, sit down to dinner (own expense) at The George Inn, before journeying to Stonehenge for your ‘private viewing,’ after the daytime visitors have left.

Amazing experience

The day turned up with perfect weather to see Stonehenge. The trip to Bath and to eat at the Lacock pub were a bonus but being in the inner circle at Stonehenge was the most amazing part. Peter our tour guide kept everyone engaged in the bus with his quirky humor.

Now this was a great tour: inner circle Stonehenge, excellent breakfast stop at a small local pub, town of LaCock, and Bath Roman baths and town. Excellent driver and tour guide.

Magical and Delightful Excursion

James and Paul were a wonderful duo who made sure we had a fabulous day. The timing of our 3 spots was perfect to soak in all the experiences. Stonehenge was magical and the guides are passionate about the site which made it even that more enjoyable. Lacock was a precious English village that was lovely and the time we spent in Bath was just enough to tour the springs and walk the streets. Highly recommend.

This was a high light for me on our London Holiday as I have wanted to see Stonehenge forever, what made it even more exciting was having the inner circle tour package this was just wonderful, My only concern was that too little time was spent at both Bath and Lacock it should be either Bath and Stonehenge or Lacock and Stonehenge but apart for that small issue this was just a great day we both loved every minute of it we highly recommend this tour and would do it again when next we return to England

Great driver (Nuna?) and guide (Fank?) for our morning tour on June 6th, 2022. We started on time and they dropped us off at another station at the end of the trip due to Tube strike so we did not have to walk far. The guide provided great information/tips and was entertaining at times. The Stonehenge itself is magnificent. It is worth the extra money to get to the inner circle. Bath is an very interesting city itself and would worth another visit. An extra hour there would have been fantastic.

Time flies on this tour. Visiting inside the stones is epic.

Don’t worry about it being a long tour. The time flies. I took this tour with my daughter and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Visiting inside the stones at Stonehenge was epic. I would have been so disappointed if I had taken a trip that just allowed you to go around the stones. Bath was a wonderful town. We went through the museum pretty quick so that we could spend most of our time exploring. I even had time to visit the Jane Austin Museum. Lacock was so cute. We took many photos. Our tour guide Ann Marie was great. Very nice and informative. We had lots of time to enjoy each activity. Paul our driver was also very good. He was a very safe driver. I strongly recommend this tour.

Wow! Wow! Wow! This was an incredible experience! Stonehenge at sunset in the inner circle was magnificent. Watching my kids play hide and seek throughout the stones was something I’ll never forget. James our tour guide was superb - so knowledgeable and friendly and an amazing voice to listen to on our journey. Sean our bus driver was also amazing!! Thank you both for a day we’ll never forget!

Absolutely worth it. Frank, our guide for the day, was knowledgeable and caring. Choi, our driver, did an incredible job winding the coach through tiny streets in London, Lacock, and Bath. I wish we had had time enough to tour the inside of Lacock Abbey, but I’m glad we got to see it — we will be planning to include it on a future trip! Huge shoutout to Chris, our archaeologist host at Stonehenge: I don’t think we would have used our full hour inside the circle if he hadn’t been there to share so much interesting information. Truly a once in a lifetime experience!

Coach was comfortable and the tour guide was very informative. Frank and choy did a good job showing us Stonehenge, Lacock and bath. Viewing inner circle was great and going early before the regular masses was fantastic. Great tour! Highly recommended! Just wish we could meet at 6am and skip the first coffee stop!
