Wonderful tour from Dan! I was a little apprehensive at first as to what it would be like - how spooky it would be, how much you had to believe in ghosts, and how theatrical the guide would be, but Dan was fantastic - he really brought the ghostly stories to life but not in an over-the-top way. As well as ghostly connections to various places we passed on our walk, Dan also packed the tour with interesting snippets from history and about the history of York itself. It was quite a large group but he did a great job guiding us round and keeping us together and safe

Very entertaining. It was the highlight of the trip for my daughter - and we did EVERYTHING in York! Spooky tales and some interesting history all with humour and theatrics. I'd recommend this to anyone visiting York. Dan, our guide, looked and acted the part to a tee and as the group dispersed I overheard others say how much they'd enjoyed it. Excellent value aswell for over an hour of well thought out entertainment. Book it!
