We were very disappointed with trip. We thought as it was called York cruise it would be round York. But all we saw was trees and river bank, outwith york. Nothing to see. The afternoon tea was ok .

Seats on board allocated before arrival. We were on the lower deck and couldn’t see anything apart from tree roots during the trip. As for afternoon tea, poor value for the money, sandwiches made from cheapest bread possible, fillings were poor and the cakes were a cheap frozen selection and extremely poor. To be charged £60 for two, this is a total waste off money and would recommend you do not go on this trip, extremely disappointing.

We had a fantastic time on the cruise and the history of York was very informative and factual. My only downfall would be that the sandwiches and cakes were rather small for both me and my partner to share, it would be nice to have a stand each for the money we paid. But other than that I have no issues and me and my family really enjoyed the day. I would recommend this to anyone.

The crew were brilliant. The captain was funny and made everyone on board laugh. He gave us facts about the bridges. The ladies were always checking to see if we needed anything.

This is a great experience but if you are on the lower deck you don’t see much and there is no way to specify upper or lower deck when booking. Tables are allocated so no mad rush to board , you sit where they tell you. However the afternoon tea is excellent quality, sandwiches delicious , lovely selection of sweet treats ,service with a smile all run like a well oiled machine and Captain Mike is highly amusing, we would definitely do it again.

The staff on board were friendly and attentive. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious. Captain Kris was informative and knowledgable throughout the tour. He went above and beyond, welcoming all tourists personally when boarding the cruise. He took time to ask and check in with each and every person. A very relaxing and enjoyable outing!

The crew were very welcoming and friendly, the space was open and fantastic views all around of the river sights. Our afternoon tea was lovely and plenty of it and they provided vegetarian option too. The service was really good and very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to do this again soon.

A most enjoyable cruise to end our day visiting York. Plenty of good food and tea/coffee/juices and an informative and comedic captain to tell us what we were looking at. A great way to unwind after all the walking and before a longish drive back to our holiday base

The river trip was very pleasing with views of the countryside once we left the city. The afternoon tea was tasty and there was plenty of time to enjoy it. The Captain was very knowledgeable with good commentary and also tea room music to give a good atmosphere.
